Ok, "Hypersonic Wave Engine"??? I'd never even heard of this one before, and the design goals are seriously high also. I'm not surprised it wasn't "test-flying" by 2009.

Going to have to do some research on the book quoted. Going through what's available on-line I've got some curiosity worked up over the author's background since I HAVE to question some of the 'advice' offered )
