...apparently it uses "asymmetrically spaced impeller blades" to reduce noise.. sorta like a stealth helicopter a bit maybe?

Not on Helicopter Rotor, asymmetrically build rotor would fly very unstable or fly not at all!, because Rotor has less blade as a impeller blades fan
Edit: text not more relevant see post below

i wonder if this work on Turbine to get them quiet or would just asymmetrically spaced turbin blades, rip the engine apart ?

If that thing can run boot camp / Windows 7 I'm all over it.

I don't see it. OP's link has a redirect that trips my spam sense. Care to try again with an attachment?

Time for an upgrade, so I got a Windows 7 laptop from HP (Pavillion G something) with my first paycheck from IHS. 17 inch 1080p widescreen display, 2.something AMD A4 processor, 300 GB hard drive, 512MB video card, and a DVD-RW drive. After I upgraded it to 8 GB of RAM, it came in just a hair over $400. Quiet as hell, and runs nice and fast. If you can find one of these, check it out. It outspecs and outperforms the old laptop I'd been using for the past five years or so, and cost about a quarter of the old one's pricetag. Now the old one has been relegated to serving as a platform to manage my music collection, so I don't have to move 40 some GB of mp3 files to the new computer and deal with what that would do. iTunes is about the most retarded piece of software I've ever seen.

Another environmental advantage which will be very appreciated residents is the notable reduction of noise pollutions of the Hummingbird dependent on the anticouple rotor asymmetrical small window and its engine Turboméca Arrius 2F, engine quieter than old Astazou XIV of the Gazelle.

I came within a gnat's ass of buying a Razer Blade. Thing that stopped me was the noise and it's not especially speedy. Sure looks sweet though. Oh yeah, iTunes sucks.

Asymmetric fan —I saw this too and immediately thought that this might be a interesting solution to retreating blade stall on rotor craft.

Ok, I see the Macbook fan and the fenestrons. Very neat idea playing with the spacing to smurf the sound emissions across a wider spectrum! I've seen experiments where a sine wave and white noise were calibrated to radiate the exact same power. The sine wave sounded MASSIVELY louder and irritating while the white noise was quiet and soothing.

Same idea between a lightbulb vs a laser. Sine waves do to my concentration what high-powered lasers do to incoming warheads: Total mission kill!

Macbook. The batteries are glued in to prevent repair. Apple wants $250 if one goes bad.
It has been dubbed the "least repairable laptop ever".
