Does anyone have an official figure (or guesstimate) of what the wing pylons on a C-130J are rated for?

Thanks!

Not entirely sure if this is what you're asking for, but this is what I found in 'Lockheed C-130 Hercules' by Martin W Bowman, Crowood 1999:
...the C-130J can carry an additional 18,700lb (8,482kg) of fuel in external tanks if required.

It gets me close, although we don't know the split between inboard/outboard pylon, and I'm assuming the figure does not include the weight of the fuel tanks.

Each of two standart wing tanks holds 1.379 GAL (5220 LITRES) on J. I guarantee it:)

Thanks! 1,379 gal at 6.8 lbs/gal = 9,377 lbs
times two brings the figure within 50 lbs of Arjen's figure. Good, I am studying something at work that requires hanging a whole lot of weight on a C-130 outer wing pylon ;)

Group A provisions are provided on the lower side
of each outer wing at outer-wing station 81.0 for
customer installation of pylons and tanks. When the
tanks/pylons are installed, each tank has a usable
fuel capacity of 1,379 U.S. gallons (9,377 pounds
or 18,754 pounds per aircraft).
Cobham makes pylons, including smaller pylons for wing-mounted aerial refueling pods

but I'm sure your stuff will go to internal station
