Based on the size, and number of passengers, it might be closer in size to the unfinished Platt-LePage five seat PL-12 civilian helicopter.

The XR-1 and XR-1A would have had a much smaller fuselage. The pilot's position was front seat in the XR-1, and rear seat for the XR-1A.
Not having played with X-Plane, I can't say how much this would behave like the XR-1 or XR-1A.
