This has been around for a long while now and seems to be as likely to fly as the ?MB-5? mooted in the US. At least the ?MB-5? is on its wheels and has wings, even if they are modified Mustang items.

That may have something to do with the stated intent to race the aircraft in the Reno races. Seems like the maintenance checks and airworthiness checks have been lax for a number of years with badly prepped aircraft competing. I am going by the example of the test results for the Galloping Ghost in particular.
