Piaggio P.166 for paradropping?

Reading an old issue of Warplane which mentioned one proposed use of the P.166 was paradropping.

I assumed this was just creative writing, but here is an ad from 1984 Flight which states this as well.

So, how was this to be achieved without reducing the paradropped item / person to mincemeat courtesy of the aft-mounted props? Was there a ventral hatch?
