OMAC Laser 300

Greetings All -

A check of threads and I was surprised not to find any references to the OMAC (Old Man's Airplane Company) Laser 300. This past week I inventoried a box of miscellaneous items and in there was a brochure for the Laser 300. A prototype was built and flew but there were problems with stability and other aerodynamic related issues. The attached 3 view and artwork show the developed airframe with dogtooth leading edges in the wing and the leading edge extensions that worked their way up the fuselage. Like many other similar projects, it died for lack of cash.

The 3-view matches this model and the plan view of an early configuration
with regards to size, I think, (both from Aviation Week '79),but the artists
impression seem to show a longer, sleeker aircraft ?
