Speaking of "Oldies", I did save your old one "Warriors" to my hard drive if you don't have a copy. I'll be glad to forward it to you.

Thanks for you offer I will release it here, too. "Warriors" was only temporary not finished solution. But certainly I will return back to that ready model of F-107 and I will remake this theme in my new renderers.

Cool!! You wouldn't happen to have a tweak of it to do the proposed two-seat version, would you? I've always felt that with the the two-component centerline store, they could put the ECM pod there for a Wild Weasel version instead of using a wing hardpoint or scabbing a split pod onto either side of the fuselage. Another thought would be a F-107 in Thunderbirds markings, blending the markings on their F-100Ds and F-105Bs.

And from my old archives

Hi! Maybe my question is slightly out of topic, I don't know... But I still keep these VTOLs' pics (taken from your old site) and am very curious - what is that? Could you briefly describe? Some day, in a convenient time, of course... :)

"Quest 1" is a wartime Bell Aircraft design for a tailsitter VTOL "Convertiplane" (designed by A. Young.) "Quest 2" is a wartime (or shortly thereafter) design patented by one L.H. Leonard (see patents 2479125, 2387762, a few others). Not sure if he worked for any particular American aviation company, or was Just Some Guy. A lot of his designs have been incorrectly described as German designs.

I would like to know some info about that A. Young VTOL. Hesitate to ask (as a new member) :), if anybody has some drawings?

From FLIEGER 1952, here's a drawing of the Leonhardt concept:

As I cleared directories on my comp I found these pictures - top of my computer graphic 12-13 years ago. My 3D models were created from lines and mapped on prepared bitmap's background. Then started process of painting - hand in Photoshop 3 with paths, masks etc. I hope sometimes I will return back to these beautiful birds with other tools but how to do it when the world is full of thousands forgotten secrets

That GD-TFX looks cool. As for the Me-262's, I've always liked the HG III Series, but those turbo-prop variants are my favorites. They look excellent.

It is not fully right place for these pictures but here you are
