Someone named Deroin helped the manufacture, so the Oiseau Bleu 1 was often called Landes-Deroin.
In 1925, the Oiseau Bleu II was modified by Bréguet, more solid. Weight increased to 60kg. Robert Landes died in 1930, aged 32. The machine was presented in 1931 for the last time in public.
