Odd Airplane Project Concept to Explain ?

Hi,

here is a strange airplane concept,fitted with two variants,I can't recognize
what was it,can anybody explain it ?.

I believe those are hypothetical designs being used to show a new arrangement for a glider towing apparatus.

That glider-towing apparatus would create severe pitch problems for the tow-plane.
