hesham, this is embarrassing... not the fact that you use Google Translation to try and understand a page, but the fact that you copy-paste that absolutely crap of a translation into a post and call it a topic.

Not to mention all the crappy HTML code you copy-pasted from the results page...

Another (with my basic english) translation:

The project originates from a Ing. Nuvoli's private venture, which previuos N.3 was not built by FIAT. He bet (and win) with Giovanni Agnelli (The President of FIAT) he would have been able to build a successful light airplane.

From N.5 (1 built) Nuvoli created many variants:
N.5R - Biplace, open cockpits, dual control, faired landing gear. R for Records.
N.5RR - Biplace, closed cockpit, dual control, faired l.g., improved aerodynamics, reduced wings.
N.5T - Biplace, open cockpit, redesigned fuselage, powered by Pobjoy 90HP. Sold at 38000 lire, 2 examples built (I-COLB and I-MAFF).
N.5Cab - Multiplace executive, 2 built (I-RUSP and I-NUBE). The first with wooden propeller on FIAT A.54 engine (140HP); the second with metal propeller and folding wings. The second lost on a fatal crash during 1935 Raduno del Littorio.
N.5AQ - For Alta Quota (high altitude). Experimental high altitude trainer, requested by Air Ministry (MM298). Metal wheel fairings, Magni engine cowling, FIAT A.70 engine, metal propeller. This was the last built aircraft, in 1938, by the workshop, as Nuvoli was called up for duty as military engineer.
ND 6.6 - Nuvoli's twin engined project built by Società Nazionale Officine di Savigliano.

Thanks a lot visvirtusvoluntas for bringing some sense to this topic!!! ;)

Hi,

all we know about this designer (Prospero Nuvoli) is N.3,N.5 & N.6,but what
was N.1,N.2 & N.4 ?.

"... Fiat N.3, dove N sta per Nuvoli mentre il numero 3, secondo le cronache, venne scelto per scaramanzia."

The Fiat N.3 was capitano ingegnere Prospero Nuvoli's first aircraft. Apparently, Nuvoli chose the number three for good luck. So, it is likely that there never was an N.1 or N.2.

Hi all,

Did anyone ever see complete 3 views for any of the Nuvoli aircraft? There are ofcourse the views in this thread.

Many thanks in advance!
