Re: Northrop Versatile Fighter Configuration Technology - N-369 STOVL

This configuration was N369-3 BTW

Nice. Think what Mitsubishi could do with such a design today.

Note a family resemblance to the later N382-20 in this topic

From my collection in 1/20th. These were litigation models utilized during the McDonnell/Northrop F-18 lawsuit.

Hi allysonca and welcome! Your pics won't appear until you have reached a minimum amount of posts on this forum (I think it's 15).
You can get in touch with overscan about it and he'll see what he can do.

Great first post... a cornucopia of Northrop project models.

You can now post without requiring approval.

Great post! Could you kindly take some more pictures from different angles? Just only if it doesn't mean too much work taking the models down from wall. :)

I have to agree with Fighting Irish (As a Purdue grad you have no idea how much that pains me to say that ;) ) that more pictures would be greatly appreciated of those models, especially a forward bottom fuselage shot of the P700. Although it's directly related to the ND-102 it would appear it didn't have the "double bubble cross section" lower fairing that is a characteristic of the ND-102 models we've seen in pictures. I did notice that in the drawings Billro posted as well.
