Re: Rockwell short haul V/STOL aircraft of 1973

A smaller, but basically similar Rockwell concept, based on the Gulfstream 2:
(from Aviation Week July 1973)

North American Rockwell Commercial V/STOL Studies

Here are some designs from a marketing slide set given to me many years ago.

Re: North American Rockwell Commercial V/STOL Studies

Great find JimK,

and looks like some Rockwell V/STOL aircraft here;

Because why not, I straightened up and perspective-corrected the three-views. Also tried to clean up one of the diagrams... with results charitably described as "meh."

Well, its *possible* to clean up, but not easy. This was a quick go, not finished.

Great material - are these slides, photos or what?

Seems to fit - source unknown.

BR Michael

Edit: Most likely the wing of the Gulfstream 2 concept, posted by Jemiba - pic attached.

Busted! As I did not have a slide scanner to convert them to a digital format, these are digital photos of projected slides. The distortion arises from not having the camera lens axis on the projector axis. As mentioned in the NAC-100 Centuryliner topic their age and usage probabley accounts for their condition.
