North American Hoverbuggy VTOL test rig

Can it be that Northrop was involved (or even built?) a test rig named Hover Buggy intended for VTOL trials. Never saw any details.

NOT Northrop. You'll have to have the topic's title edited...

It was North American. Here is what Aerofiles says about it:

FS-1 Hoverbuggy 1965 = Open framework VTOL research vehicle, "Flight Simulator Number 1". Two 2200# GE YJ85 turbojets for lift, four engine bleed-air nozzles on outriggers for control; "span": 23'0" length: 36'0" load: 1550# v (max): 58 range 10. The ship had made 15 tethered and 185 free flights at altitudes up to 100' when the program was shut down in 1967.

Sorry I caused confusion. I thought it was a Northrop "product", but I started the topic wrongly with North American. On this forum you learn every day (at least, I do).
