Project of NIIPM RAN (Institute of Applied Mechanics of Russian Academy of Sciences) ca. 2003, MTVKA-U stays for Reusable Transport AeroSpace Vehicle - Universal Purpose, later project was christened 'Rossiya'. Was another russian exibit at Japanese EXPO 2005 along wiith Tu-2000.

TOW ~800 tonns, empy weight ~112 tonns, LEO payload ~45 tonns.
Lenght - 75 m, wingspan 40,8 m, height - 17 m

Is there more information available on this? Interest has been expressed to me in building a model of it, I could use whatever other images might be available. Thanks.
 
But, Scott, remember, this is more paper project than your ordinary paper napkin. It was just an academic Obruchev's (appearing on one of the pics) idea how to suck 6 billion dollars from the state to improve state of his living for the remaining years. Surprisingly, state didn't show enthusiasm, but model of monster carrying 1200 paxes did look so cool...why didn't show it at WorldExpo?
