This video looks a lot like a contrast-ratio-maxed-out IR video of a hellfire missile hitting the wing of the drone, but the warhead failing to fuze.
You can see the initial upset/tumble, and then the vehicle stabilizes. The warhead likely fails to fuze, because its a drone/small cruise missile, not a tank.

I’m sure that if members of the legislature or press were communicating with someone who had the answers to some of these questions it would make some of these “intelligence agencies” that also claim to be “law enforcement” agencies under EO 12333 very nervous.

Some folks in office may not just be cutting science/space just because they're Randian zealots.

If you believe "they" have flying saucers, you might not want to fund space/rocketry.

What I would like to see? Mythbusters on steroids where military assets replicate this (cat out of the bag) with a civilian drone with film cameras follow a repeat of this. Missile hits balloon. The film camera shows it up close--with drone footage compared to explain digital blooming.

At least when Avi says something about Oumuamua or whatever--you at least KNOW it is an interstellar object.

One of the things I wish some tech-bro would do is to fund a book called "The Skeptics Guide to Camera Artifacts" or something.

If you billionaire space cadets want your projects to be worked on--the public needs pro-critical thinking skills. That doesn't happen on the cheap.

The average meteor is fainter---and if brighter, typically doesn't go from horizon to horizon without exploding.

An actual ET craft will have to obey the same laws of physics we do--and will have to aerobrake as well.

So a real ET craft will look no different than the Stardust sample return or a stout nickel-iron slug that doesn't come apart in a million pieces:

For the Moon footage...
If not an artifact, maybe a micrometeoroid hit inducing static discharge of a tiny plume not ordinarily visible.

If I were to take pictures on the Moon…or photograph ball lightning (if any) I would want videotape, film, digital, etc.

If it is on all three, it’s real.

Nothing wrong with having an interest in the unusual. I think Michigan Kaku spoke on TV about UAPs. He was on another program speaking about thin, mystery rain showers where he said he didn’t think the laws of physics allowed for that.

Now, while I just don’t see any easy path towards field-effect propulsion—I might have a solution to freak rain showers.

You are all likely to be familiar with virga, rain that doesn’t hit the ground.

I have seen photographs of eroding, small clouds with long rain tendrils…looking like jellyfish. Longest towards the center.

We have all seen how flames creeped up the sides of the Saturn V first stage due to lows pulling exhaust products *forward* into the direction of movement.

I am thinking the same thing can happen downwards—-the precipitation lengthens and narrows Earthwards—outer section continue to evaporate to the point that a very thin shower is all that is left to hit the ground—everything else hiding as relative humidity.

In direct alignment with President Trump's mandate for comprehensive transparency on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), the Department of War (DOW) today announced the issuance of a targeted legal waiver. This waiver establishes an authorized, legally protected disclosure mechanism for current and former personnel to provide UAP-related National Defense Information (NDI) to designated representatives of the PURSUE effort.

Under this directive, all current and former DOW service members, civilian personnel, and contractors holding or previously granted access to UAP-related National Defense Information (NDI) are authorized to disclose protected information directly to official PURSUE representatives. The waiver supersedes civil and administrative enforcement provisions contained within Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Special Access Program Indoctrination Agreements (SAPIAs) previously executed within the United States, strictly for communications directed to the PURSUE team.

This targeted legal relief establishes an authorized pipeline for systematic review, security evaluation, and potential declassification of historical and ongoing UAP data in furtherance of national mission objectives.

Historically, individuals with direct knowledge of UAP-related programs cited concerns regarding potential legal liability, loss of clearances, or administrative prosecution stemming from standard NDAs and SAP indoctrination terms.

This waiver removes those barriers by explicitly authorizing covered disclosures to PURSUE representatives without triggering breach-of-agreement penalties or standard NDA violations.
