New AIDC Turboprop trainer Aircraft

Has anyone head of a new trainer aircraft being developed by AIDC as an indigenous replacement for the ROCAF's T-34Cs?

The latest intel' I have heard is that the Taiwanese Ministry of Defence is supporting a 2yr R&D phase for 4 acft with a plan to follow up with up to 86 acft in a production phase. It may all be aspirational though...
