hello, today Im looking for ships with strange or experimental turret placements from world war one or world war two like the nelson class so if you could help me it would be great with this please :3
 
Well that is going to be a list...
You know of the Nelson class all forward arrangement, same all forward layouts:
Richelieu, Donkeruqe - 2 quad turrets forward
Yamato preliminaries: A-140/A,B,C,D,G,J,K, Hiraga's Proto-Yamato 1929 Design, Some of the North Carolina preliminaries like Scheme A and D for example, RN F3, Italian Maricominav Design, Soviet Project 21 - 3 triple turrets forward
F2, Harima Shipyard design for China - 3 twin turrets forward
Tone class - 4 twin turrets forward
IJN Oyodo - 2 triple turrets forward
Victoria - 1 twin turret forward
Itsukushima - 1 single "turret" forward

Others:
North Carolina preliminary design Scheme F - 2 quad turrets aft
Matsushima - 1 single "turret" aft
RN H3b/c - 1 turret forward 1 amidships
RN M2 - 2 turrets forward 2 amidships

Richelieu Preliminary and one of the Maricominav design - 2 quad turrets amidships (Admiral deFeo type arrangement)

Some of HMS Untakeable and Unapproachable - 6 twin turret hexagonal layout but all forward
Not unique layout just the number of barrels per turret is unique: Tillman's Design 171 Scheme 2, 6 barrels per turret for a total 24

Does hexagonal layout count as unique?
 
Wasn't there a French battlecruiser design proposal two quad turrets amidships?

Yes. There was a 1920's design (or at least an online drawing claiming to be a 1920's design....) of a ship with 2 midships quad turrets en echelon. There was a raised fo'c'sle with a catapult and hangar. There was a second catapult and hangar aft, with a track connecting the 2, snaking between the turrets. There was a single funnel, and the forward superstructure resembled contemporary French heavy cruisers. Unfortunately, I can't recall where I saw this, and searching for it now was unsuccessful.......

It was certainly mentioned on the Avalanche Press pages for US Navy Plan Gold (the US vs France in the Caribbean), with one or two of the counters showing that deckplan; however it's not linked from the current pages for War Plan Gold (same map and counters, new scenario set). You might find it by searching the Avalanche Press site, or the Wayback Machine archive of it.

I'm still not think it was a real project or an accurste representation of a real design.
