Young specialists from the UKNEST technical community-England presented promising developments.The UKNEST team, aiming to unite engineers and scientists around the British Navy, has developed many futuristic projects, including the Nautilus 100, a robotic torpedo in the shape of a flying fish. The idea of a flying torpedo fish is that swimming at shallow depth, interspersed with low altitude flights, makes detection by radar or sonar difficult. She can easily hide in small waves. And commanding officer of this future torpedo squadron should be RN Commander Nemo.
P.S. Adding ram to the list of warheads is necessary too, if you please :cool:
 
One of my colleagues was on the UKNEST group which came up with these. It's important to remember that their terms of reference explicitly tell them not to be limited by the current state of the art. These projects are intended to identify useful concepts for future systems, and then R&D activity can follow.

It would be interesting to describe the type of propulsion they envision, which will be expected to work both in and out of the water.

There seem to be two sets of inlets and exhausts, with covers variably in place from image to image. Generously, that could imply that they imagined two separate propulsion systems. Having the two systems use the same size/shape openings seems like an over-simplification, though.
