Hi,
The Quiet Clean Short-haul Experimental Engine (QCSEE) program was conducted
by General Electric Advanced Engineering and Technology Program Department
under contract from NASA Lewis Research Center. The program included the
design, fabrication, and testing of turbofan propulsion systems for two shorthaul
transport aircraft and delivery of these systems to NASA for further
testing. One propulsion system was designed for an Under-the-Wing (UTW), externally
blown flap application; the other w~s configured for Over-the-Wing
(OTW) upper-surface blowing.
