Hi all. It's been a while since I last posted here. This morning I watched a Russian Youtube channel called 'Voyennaya Priomka', or 'Combat Ready'. The episode was on the T-50/Su-57. At the UMPO engine plant, testing the new engine for the Su-57, the Izdelye 30, around 20 minutes into the show, they show the control room of the engine test stand. On the control panels you can see a collection of scale models that I Identified with relative ease, from memory, from right to left: MiG 1.44, Su-37/ old Su-35, Mig-31, Su-47, Su-30SM, and... Here's my question to the experts here: what aircraft does the left-most model represent? For me, it looks like the model of a made-up MiG-37B Ferret E, released decades ago by an Italian model kit manufacturer, although this model has a pointed nose, as opposed to the 'MiG-37', and I can't make out the cockpit canopy; would it be some UCAV? The thing is, all the other models represent real aircraft, powered by UMPO's engines, so you might expect this one also represents a real plane, what kind, I have no clue. Do you?
