Mystery (Italian?) plane like a cantilever Comper Swift

Can anyone help me identify this little plane that seems even smaller than a Comper Swift and without that plane's struts? Perhaps Italian, but I say that only because it's posed with the Caproni.

That is the Fongri di Grignani from 1931, a very light plane driven by a motocycle engine.
