The so called 'drones' is a non story (didnt we have a thread on this previously ?)
re 'laser' use, I think this is quite possibly a common abet unreported occurrence ?
I'm pretty sure i read of laser use as a potential blinding weapon back in the 1980's (Soviet Military Review, c.84 ?)
and mention of similar use by the RN. during the Falklands against incoming Argentinian aircraft ?
I am certainly aware of anti laser flash over glasses being issued to MPA. crews in the 90's

Yeah, one failed to attack an aircraft too valuable to be actually lost, another one failed to attack random civilians, 3rd one was left intact to be found.
