A Myasishchev document published in 2012 and entitled Design a range of light aircraft based on the LMS M-101T presents a range of aircraft projects more or less directly derived from the M-101T Gzhel light multipurpose aircraft:
  • The M-101TM a modernized, operational development version of the basic M-101T. Among new features would be wingtip fuel tanks, a new engine type (the G.E. H-80), a flush engine intake, and a heating system recycling exhaust gases. Development and testing of the new version would take one year.
  • The M-103 multi-purpose aircraft, a mixed cargo/passengers derivative.
  • The M-107 trainer, for the initial and basic training of flight personnel. This would be in the same league with the Pilatus PC-9 (Beech T-6), among others.
  • The M-201GP light multipurpose aircraft, a lengthened, twin-engine derivative of the M-101 for either cargo or passengers. The pressurized passenger cabin would allow altitudes of up to 9 km, resulting in fuel economy, avoiding turbulence and bad weather, and staying clear from mountainous terrain. It would be powered by two G.E. H-80 engines.

The M-201 project is a Phase 2 project, developed jointly with the Sokol aircraft building plant at Nizhny Novgorod.

Interesting that the aircraft depicted as the M-103 in my posts is actually the one called M-101TSKh in yours. A closer look actually shows the same M-101TSKh designation on it. But even then we can notice a difference between the model shown in the montages (with 3 cabin windows) and the inboard profile view (4 cabin windows).

As for the aircraft which you posted as the M-103 Skif, it is quite a different bird! Since the document looks older than the one I posted, it seems that the original M-103 was abandoned, and the designation reused for the M-101TSKh.

From Kryl'ya Rodine 1/2003,

here is a full scale mock-up to M-101 but with V-tail,the Model for wing tunnel and
a 3-view to M-101T.
