Hi folks,

here it is a presentation jointly written, and drawed, by me and Dwayne Allen Day.
It covers almost all the aspects of this interesting and unlucky project and it took more the 3 months of work to be prepared.

A small note: on Slide 6 the SAMOS E-5 is labelled as "Manned". Of course the E-5 wasn't started as manned project but USAF did foreseen a manned derivative, so this is the sense of the label.

Enjoy it!!

Of course.
But, in principle, the presentation is focused about the military aspects of MOL project.
As written by Dwayne there wasn't NASA's MOL but only company proposal attempts to save the programme.

Anyway I do not exclude a further update with a specific chart for MOL derivatives including the proposal submitted to NASA.

...Excellent artwork on your part, Arch!

Q: Do you do actual 3D rendering work? If so, have you considered doing meshes for any of these concepts?

Many thanks OM.

Effectively I could do it using AutoCad
I could try out to obtain meshes from Canvas drawing and see what happens....

Impressive - was it presented at a conference or similar?

Since 1997 I held a lecture-course focused about the configuration of manned spacecrafts.
Usually it is divided in three lessons, two hours each one, the first one about manned space capsules (American, Russian and Chinese), the second one about aerospaceplanes and the last one about space stations (MOL, Salyuts, Skylab, Mir and ISS).

Archipeppe...

Do you have the entire MOL presentation in one file to download? Thank you.

They don't do space hardware in that cute corrugated Junkers style anymore. :(

Of course but it's too large, even in zip file, to be post here.
Please contact me via pm....
