Miles M58 work in progress

I would think, in the same position as on the Sea Vampire,
at the jet exhaust. Structurally, too, it is the best position,
I think.

Ooops.
Just to prove it pays to have a last look.
I seem to have ommitted the tail plane from the front views. So it is a busy night in the Photoshop after all.

Cheers
Peter

I need a little more help please.

Has anyone got dimensions, likely armament and estimated speed for the M58?
Trying to finish off the framing-up.

Very grateful for any help.

The Miles M.58 was to be armed with two cannons mounted in the forward end of the tail booms, and it would have had a top speed of 463 mph (745km/h). The top speed for the M.58 is quoted in the appendix of the book British Secret Projects: Fighters and Bombers 1935-1950.

Extra info about the M.58 is available at this thread: https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/threads/miles-m-58-twin-boom-naval-fighter.4089/
