Many thanks for all the useful help on the Australian DLG and also the info on why the Brown/Moore and Friedman books seem to be thin on drawings of the 50s-70s unbuilt glint in the eye stuff.

I saw some Shipbucket drawings on another site and wonder whether contributors there might have a take on some of this stuff.

I was just reading this morning about the nuclear versions briefly examined of the County, Type 82 and Type 43 designs. I assume they would have closely resembled anologue US ships.

The detail of George Moore's stuff is in his series of articles on British cruisers in recent issues of the Warships annual. But he hasn't dealt with the Australian ships there.
