i have still many questions : why was a " flying baracks" ? and how is possible the losing gas from fuel tanks ?

Flying barracks means the plane has sleeping and cooking facilities (as well as toilets) -- features usually found in barracks ashore.

Leaking fuel tanks are fairly typical. With a lot of flexing and vibration, seams in the tanks can separate slightly, allowing small amounts of fuel to leak out.

I understood : my impression is that seagull wings on seaplanes were more liable to vibrations. I could be wrong.
