Hi,

The Arla-1 was a two-seat military recce aircraft project of 1921,powered by one 300 hp

The project aircraft Arla-I (the name was the abbreviation of the names of owners of record: Arkuszewski-Laskiewicz) was completed in August 1921. Constructor plane was Stanislaw Cywiński . In early October, they sent him to assess the Department of Air Navigation MSWojsk. The project was returned to the studio in December 1921. Construction of the aircraft is not taken.

Austro-Daimler engine.

In April of 1923. Commissioned label Plage & Laskiewicz development project. Arla plane-II was intended for short-range reconnaissance and aerial observers for school. Airframe provide a good field of view of both the cockpit and the observer. Maintenance provided easy access to the teams usually uszkadzanych or fast wearing parts of the airframe and engine. With the project, however, showed that the used engine Austro-Daimler impossible to keeping the conditions set out in the technical assumptions. Work on the project was halted to the inability to meet the conditions resulting from the output and unrealistic requirements of the WCBL and CZL. They abandoned also the order of two airframes: one for static test and a second test on the fly. Discontinued was the concept of building more of these series airframe, corresponding to the number of engines possessed.
