Wikipedia says this, "The Loening XFL was a proposed carrier based fighter aircraft to be built by Loening Aeronautical Engineering for the US Navy. It won a 1933 competition, but Loening was already busy building other aircraft, so the contract was canceled." My Google Fu is not turning up any drawings, does anyone have any to share? Cheers, Matthew

Might have something. I'll give it a look tonight.

Never found a single image for the XFL-1 design, I'm afraid... :-[

I believe it was based on BuAer design 120 and the serial 9346 was reserved for it. No drawing, however, in my collection.

Also from this book.
