Nice find regarding CSA!

great find!
However the two different renditions for each type show huge variance in thinking. The two CSA's for example. One seems like a delta for hot and high operations, the second one seems more optimized for sea level operations.

Other Lockheed CSA concepts:

I've always LOVED the first of these two Lockheed CSA concepts. One of the very rare unbuilts of the past 30 years that I would really love to have a model replica of!

Stargazer,
the AEW and the ASW variant were on the cover of Flight International sometime in the 90s
Their picture showed up somewhere else on the forum (sorry for the lack of precision!).

Thanks Triton! This must be from the Flight cover AeroFranz was talking about, right?
Isn't this such a clean and original design, really?

Precisely! I was struck too by the elegance of the design.
I went to my school's library a couple of years back and found the bound volume (before Flight put everything online). IIRC, there was hardly any mention of it in the article inside.

I had hi-res of this somewhere. Will have to look.

Hi,

I saw anther concepts to this old designs, maybe in a book's about future, but what
was it ?.

Was it this design, from "Warplanes Of The Future"?
