Lockheed Model 75 Saturn

The Lockheed Model 75 Saturn commuter airliner was an attempt to capture the short-haul segment of the post-World War II commercial market. First flown on 17 June 1946, the fourteen-passenger Saturn, which could easily be converted to cargo-only transport, could not compete with the glut of former military transports appearing on the market after the war. Both protoypes of the Model 75 were scrapped in 1948.

Good Day All!

From the Gerald Balzer Collection comes this 3 view of the Model 75 Saturn. Interesting that there is no dihedral shown. Have a photo or two from his folder of the Saturn to scan that may help determine if it actually had any.
