I thought it was interesting because it's the first decent explanation of how the Launch Escape System works I've ever seen.

Second, I hadn't realised just how big the 'Little Joe II' was, I thought it was about the size of a CSM with fins on.

Also, that flip over on abort that the CM would have done seems pretty hairy.......

then again, better that than be blown to bits by an exploding Saturn V......
