Another minor puzzle, this time from Flight, 30 March 1939. http://www.flightglobal.com/pdfarchive/view/1939/1939%20-%200900.html

A page of sketches shows mostly well-known 1939 fighter types ... other than the one labelled "Ligne 46". Tables at the end of the article mention light fighters like the Caudron 'Cyclone' and Air Payen Pa.112 but no mention of a 'Ligne 46' (the closest is the SFCA-Lignel 10 trainer ... and this concept looks nothing like the postwar Lignel 46 Coach).

Anyone know anything about this design or its designer?

My dear Apophenia,

it's hard to say,but I found in gallica site an transport aircraft, seemed to be a project,
and they said; Avion de ligne, but in TU magazine, the Lignel 30 was a design may be
was not related to SFCA.

In Google translate, ligne by Frech means line by English,so I am very confuse.

My dear Apophenia,

the mystery is solved,the SFCA Lignel 46 was a four seat light aircraft;
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SFCA_Lignel_46_Coach

but in the drawing,it was a SFCA Lignel 40,it was a single seat lightweight fighter Project
of 1938,powered by one 350 hp Bearn 6 C engine,and had an estimated speed of 560 km/h.

Topic renamed with the proper spelling Lignel instead of "Ligne".

I have this plan in my file identified as "Lignel 203".

Edit: thanks to iverson, this profile wrongly identified in my files shows the MS.460 project. I place it in another thread.

In the Aviation Magazine International issue n°826 page 91 (july 1982), a 3V drawing of the Lighel 31 has been published.
Any SPF member has this issue available?
Thanks in advance

The drawing depicts the Morane-Saulnier MS.460 aircraft. Justo posted plans somewhere here on the site.
I agree. Good job! Thank you for this identification.

Aviation Magazine issue 826 was published in May 1982, not July.

A rare view from my collection showing at the same location the Lignel 10 (left side), Lignel 30 (middle) and Lignel 20 (right).
