Russian pilots don't need no vodka. They have a better source of booze for decades. Hint: they fly in them...

Edit: notice "yad" written on the canister - "poison". Su-25 like the one in tha background carried 250 litres of vater-ethanol mix nad 50 litres of pure ethanol, used for injection into the intake air during flight with afterburning. In other aircraft ethanol mixtures were used for cooling the electronics. For this reason the pilots LOVED the Tu-22 aka the Supersonic Booze Carrier. Some mixtures were slightly poisonous, but nothing so insignificant can discourage a true Sovetskii lotchik.

Howdy !

Speaking for myself…No….I don’t have trouble switching wallets.

My has always decided when Imget a new or different wallet.

The reason she had me swap-out the last 2 = they were too tight in their compartmentalization, and it was too difficult for her to draw out charge cards in a timely fashion ! No kidding’ !

Also, the last wallet was also “ toast “, once it’s internal flip-over money “ clip “ lost its retention capability.

I myself much prefer a wallet constructed from ballistic nylon. They do seem to be harder on charge cards though…. as I have had to replace charge cards because of
“ excess wear “ on their external surfaces; and had become unreadable or unreliable to scan. Also no kidding’ !

Yeh…. my wife wants to make a clean, fast draw when she needs a card.

I once was finishing up my “ paperwork “, after using the men’s restroom @ a local Target store. Right in the middle of that process, and with my pants & underware around my ankles…. my better half bursts through the men’s room door; wide-eyed.
“ I need your card ! I need your card ! ! she said urgently….
“ I’m at the head of the check-out line, and my card doesn’t work !!! “

I gave her the card, and then finished up what I needed to get done !


And… much to my chagrin and surprise, she did the same thing while I was in another store’s restroom 1wk later !
