I Don't belief it
the really Build that stuff ;D

To Hoovercraft tank
in 1960s was that THE future of combattank

but Hoovercraft are very hard to control and hard to stop.
that why the Hoovercraft tank came never Beyond the Prototype phase and SF-books :(

Jet engine tank
i don't get it, Wat is this ?
Jet engine push the tank or Jet engine instad gas turbine in tank like M1 ?

Rocket engine tank
Wat the hell ?

Boost the tankspeed or IR flash for incoming anti-tank rocket?
or Flamethrower ?

What is the source for these images? Do you have any further information (especially about the hover tanks tests)?

Thanks

I have a probable explanation for the rocket tank.

The IRM engineering reconnaissance vehicle has a pair of rocket pods on either side of its hull to provide forward thrust if it becomes stuck while engaged in amphibious operations, either to help it at the riverbank or to unstick it from a river bottom.

I would suggest that the rockets on the tank would serve a similar purpose considering that all T- series tanks come with deep fording capabilities.

Interesting. I suppose the hover tank would work the same way ...but it still doesn't explain the jets, though (perhaps just a prototype for a different type of turbine engine?). I am curious about the performance and handling of these vehicles (especially the flying one).

This stuff is almost as crazy as the plans to produce piston boosted infantry to accompany tanks and overrun enemy armoured units:
