I've got no hard data, but it definitely LOOKS like pure, unadulterated Sci Fi to me. Where's the fuel tanks and the heat radiators ??? :

Also, the name "Kugelraumer" doesn't really make sense in German, does it ? Of course, this could be just a translation error from Russian, but.......Nah

ı know there are far more qualified people than me , but ı understand Perry Rhodan was a very popular Sci-Fi series in 60s . The guy lands on the moon to find an UFO allowing him to establish a third power or unifiy the world ı don't exactly know .

it is the most successful science fiction book series ever written
but only in Germany Language ;D

they start September 1961 and in July 2009 they published edition 2500 !
they also oldes Sci-Fi series in World next to Dr. Who

Wouldn't "Spherical Spaceship" translate into German as "Kugelraumschiff" ?

As I read it, "Kugelraumer" would, at best, translate as "Spherical Spacer", or some such ? Granted, it may be German slang that I'm unaware of (or, of course, the previously noted possibility of a translation error from Russian).

upps forgot that
this is slang by series authors, they had enough of write all time "Kugelraumschiff"
they short it to "Kugelraumer" or "Raumer"

Michel has right, it's a definitely Perry Rhodan design.
Often Rhodan's books offered some drawings with inside views of the various spacecrafts involved in the plot.

Perhaps this is simply a Russian language translation of the original German novel.

Forrest James Ackerman published some of the Perry Rhodan books in English through Ace SF.

because the German author used words and Terms
who were almost untranslatable

I remember when I started to watch Star Trek: The Next Generation about 10 years ago (the 1st ST series I watched)... It took time to understand all the sci-fi techno babble. Not to mention when I started to watch Dr Who without subtitles on BBC Prime...

I mean, "jelly beans"??? ;D
