Appears to have been built in two versions, one with three and one with four roadwheels. Armament was one SPG-9.

As a bonus: Land Cruiser halftrack and a "swamp monster"

The first vehicle is the Shahid Aethbari APC, a late Iran-Iraq war project of the Iranian Jehad Sazandegi material committee based on operational experiences in the southern marshland regions of Iraq. The requirement addressed the need for a light, fast and easily manoeuvrable vehicle. The vehicle has two variants, one is a command variant for small group leaders for protected battlefield mobility, the other is a light recon./ AT variant carrying an anti-tank recoilless gun or RPGs in an open turret, aside crew-served small arms. The project ended after the war.

Weight: ~3 tons
Capacity: 3 people (Commander, Driver, Mechanic)
Maximum speed: 75 km per hour
Length: 300 cm
Width: 206 cm
Height: 185 cm (with turret), 125 cm (without turret)

The second vehicle is the Land Cruiser Shani-dar ("Sandy"), also a project of the Iranian Jehad Sazandegi material committee. The vehicle was a stop-gap measure to provide the Iranian forces with a cross-country vehicle and light tractor whilst being simplistic enough to not require specialized training as would be the case with fully tracked vehicles. The latter was important given the time urgencies and the largely recruit-volunteer Iranian force.

The last image is the late-war Jebel tractor project. Not much information is known about this. The project is thought to have ended with the war. In fact, apart from the given image, no other is available.

Forscher,

Thanks for the posts and pics, I enjoyed myself tremendously. It seems both projects seem to use running gear from earlier or obsolete machinery. The Land Crusier half-track appears to me to use M2/M3 running gear.
