Was 'cleared for publication by OKB security' on March, 2003

Autors from Iluyshin talk about how cool it would suit for Chechnya...poorly photoshopped photos made from IL-114 Freighter desk model images and two lonely weapon operators seats on cutaway make me smile about serious work on the project was done.
2C23 Nona cannon looks quite impressive on a/c and makes me really worry about structure loads on fuselage.

Mmm interesting... But why don't use an high-wing cargo? It would have simplified gun installation a lot. ???

Easy ways are for loosers, my friend. Why do simple things if you can do it more complicated :)

Hugs from Moscow,

Gregory, are you sure you are not German? The German engineer's motto always was "Why use one sheet metal stamping when two precisely machined pieces will do just as well?
