ID request: rocket and machine gun (?) pod

Hello all

Looking for help here. During the late sixties and early seventies Peruvian Air Force experimented with several load combinations for its Lockheed T-33 fleet. Among them was this pod which I have been unable to find any additional information about.


Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If the bullets surround the missile tubes in a helix--would you have to fire those first to keep the missile launch from overheating them?

Or is that too brief to cook off?
