I need some more help...

Recently, I came across this British pusher in a June 1930 Model Airplane News (back when they also covered some aviation news). The trouble is that there was no identification as to just who made the darn thing. The registration letters appear to be G-EBVE, but that's the registration for an Avro 548 - which this is certainly not. Any help would be appreciated.
