Hi,

I can't put this project in Early Secret Project section,because I don't
know if it was true project or not..Although in the Fantastic-Plastic
site they said it was true project.
The Horten rocket wing aircraft was powered by two rocket engines
mounted at the wing tips.

Re: DFS-468

Hi everybody

There is a real project called Horten Parabola

I have found also a project.DFS 468 Überschalljäger
I only know the DFS 228 and DFS 346!
"I don't know if it was true project or not."
Are there any other informations about this project?

There is a little text on the page.
I think this is also a interesting project!

See Tony Buttler's Soviet Secret Projects: Fighters Since 1945 (page 112/113). According to his description (based on Helmut Walther's article in FLIEGERREVUE) investigations on '468' started in 1949, so the swastika-wearing model on http://cgi.ebay.de/DFS-468-Uberschalljaeger-Bausatz-1-72-Bird-Models_W0QQitemZ300214568643QQihZ020QQcategoryZ15513QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQ_trksidZp1638.m118.l1247QQcmdZViewItem is pure nonsense and the dream of the model kit manufacturer.
