I am researching the Spanish versions of the Me-109 and came accross a mention of the HA-1111 trainer:

"HA-1111-K1L - A Hispano powered two-seat trainer version with wingtip mounted fuel tanks. Project only"

Does anyone have a drawing of this model? I assume is would have been similar to the HA-1110 which was also a two seat trainer with a Hispano engine but I am curious about the installation of the tip tanks on the wing.

This is a question I have found in LEMB ,without answer : was the Ha 1111 a two seat Me 109 (yes I know Bf 109 ;D)with tip tanks ?

Thanks for your help

Richard

Hi Richard
HA 1111 hispano powered 2 seats trainer
with wingtip fuel tanks.
PROJECT ONLY....Nothing more

Don't know if it helps, but these side views of the Buchon variants show
the 1110-K1L with the Hispano-Suiza 12Z-17 engine (N° 3) and the 1112-M4L
with Merlin engine. Except for the engine/cowling and the fin/rudder (later Me 109-
version on the 1112, as it seems) both seem to be identical, so I would assume,
that the 1111 wouldn't have been much different, just having tip tanks and
maybe the later fin.
