Hawker P-1077

[Retrofit]

Hello,

I have discovered this project P1077 dated 1949 thanks to Flitzer's beautiful artworks and a very short mention in the tread "Hawker P-xxxx project list" in this forum;
So i know that it was a general purpose fighter with two Avons, Span: 58ft, lenght: 55ft, armement: 4 x canons & crew:2.
But is there more information available, like the final status reached by the project (drawing board only or wind-tunnel tests, etc...), original drawings, and was it responding to a particular RAF program?

The P.1077 is discussed in Tony Buttler's book British Secret Projects: Jet Fighters Since 1950. The P.1077 was a paper project only, never made it to the hardware phase.
