Hi everybody,

I found a few weeks ago in Flight International a picture on a new Spanish program: HADA. It looked like a combat helicopter, I remember they said it made of composite.
Does anybody have more infos on it? I could not find anything on Internet.

Thanks by advance for your help.
Alain

Well I wish them the best of luck. Folding rotors put a 'tick' in the eye of this old helo driver. The maintainers will likely be very skeptical as well.

Pardon my ignorance but, I do wonder why a fenestron AND a pusher prop. Why the doubling up on systems?

I don't see any redundance here - the fenestron compensates the main rotor torque, while the pusher provides propulsion. The basic layout is analogous to the AH-56 Cheyenne.

Fair enuffski, I had forgotten the AH-56 had a similar system, getting old is less and less fun.....
