Today I came across a hobbyist's model of a jet flying boat, said to be a project studied by Gloster in conjunction with the Marine Aircraft Experimental Establishment (MAEE). Based on the original "Gloster Whittle" prototype jet, it featured a planing hull and tailless swept wing with dihedral on the outer panels. So I am assuming it originated in WWII and not postwar.
I do not recognise it from Taylor's book on Gloster aircraft (in the Putnam series), possibly because it had an MAEE designation and not a Gloster one.
Does anybody have any hard information about it?
