Glenn Dale's 1935 "Flying Whirligig"

In 1935, inventor Glenn Dale was granted two patents the same day: one for the whirligig/airplane design (US1981441) and the other one for a pure helicopter with 16 sets of rotors and 64 blades (US1981442)!
