Are those engines? They are as long as a Boeing 737!
I assume the wingtip "bulges" are the main fuel tanks.
 
Another new miracle of German thought. PM Magazine August 2018. A vertical airport project for Los Angeles. I do not understand the humor: how do planes immovable moor in the air to the terminal? This is very similar to the festival of incredible projects EVOLO.

1: That's a Lockheed spanloader design.
2: Apparently the artist was under the impression that it could taxi sideways.

With something that big, I'm not sure investing in gear that would rotate for ground handling and crab is a terrible idea actually (not to say this was Lockheed's plan here or that the artist didn't flub).
