I have a German video of a Fieseler Storch being launched and landing on the deck of a modified ship.
they seem to be testing basic concepts for flights / operations from aircraft carriers, the Storch operates with a small catapult and the deck has arresting wires
I don't know the year of the tests or the name of the ship used, Any more info about these tests?
Also, and as a side note, in the same video you can see how a storch falls into the sea after failing to land and apparently, after that, the width of the deck was increased.
