Gene Editing

"It's about time!"

This will work out well. No problem.

To use youtube for the first airing of results as extraordinary as these is, well, unorthodox, If this is real at all, the spliced genes are to offer the babies protection against infection, with the babies in an HIV-laden experiment to further the cause - of what, exactly?

To ensure these childrens' health, you would need to administer anti-AIDS medicine at the first sign of infection, but that would defeat the purpose of any experiment. *If* He Jiankui is sincere, he may face the choice between a proper experiment and the childrens' health. An interesting case for the Chinese authorities.

China has probably been doing this for years already. Including animal/human hybrids.
Along with AI who knows where all this is going. Biological androids?

China probably hasn't done it now. A lot of these Gene editing claims have turned out to be fakes.

For anyone wondering about this: https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/npc-wojak

It started in 4-Chan and it's basically an alt-right insult meme.

looking forward for aging related gene getting edited. So we can have 150 yrs old Model which still looks like her 18.

That is 100% certainly happening. Doesn't China have a shortage of women? Those lonely Chinese scientists are going to clone/hybridize/gene edit the hell out of that supermodel DNA.
